At the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona, Ferrari placed three cars on the podium of the first race of the Sport Prototype World Championship: the 330 P3 / 4, the 330 P4 and the 412P that parade at the checkered flag perfectly embodied the spirit of Sports. Prototypes from the 1960s, the golden age of motor racing with covered wheels. The Ferrari Daytona SP3, the second car to join the Limited Edition Icon segment, pays homage to those mid-rear-engined Ferrari V12 Sport Prototypes that made the brand a legend in motorsport.
