A special greeting from Franco Malerba, the first Italian in the space
Dear collectors, we are very proud to show you some pictures we received from Franco Egidio Malerba, the first Italian astronaut to go in the space in 1992 with Space Shuttle Atlantis.
Malerba holds in his hands the model in 1:100 scale made by MR Collection Models of the Vega C, the latest space launcher from AVIO, the Italian company leader in space propulsion.
He also wrote a dedication to Mr Egidio Reali to thank him for the model that, according to Malerba’s words,
